BRITISH HOSTAGES IN CHECHNYA (31 May 1998)
Motion Details
That this House expresses deep concern for the safety and well being of Camilla Carr and Jon James, hostages in Chechnya since 4th July 1997; applauds the fortitude and courage of their families and friends; urges the Government to continue to do everything in its power to secure their safe release; and calls on the Chechen President, Aslan Maskhadov, to make renewed efforts to find and bring about their safe return, together with the freeing of all other hostages in Chechnya.
