INDIAN NUCLEAR TESTS (10 May 1998)

Motion Details

That this House expresses its anger at the three nuclear tests conducted by India on 11th May; asks for calm in the region and that all nations continue to strive for nuclear disarmament; calls upon India to abandon its nuclear weapons capability; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to use all available political means at its disposal to persuade India and Pakistan to abandon their nuclear weapons and enter fully into the international disarmament process.
