PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
BEEF ON THE BONE REGULATIONS (21 October 1998)
Motion Details
That this House calls on Her Majesty's Government to repeal the regulations banning the sale of beef on the bone without further delay; notes that these regulations have been yet another blow for Britain's hard-pressed beef farmers; expresses grave concern that they are an unwanted attack on consumer choice and have undermined confidence in British beef; and calls upon the Government to ensure that any proposals to lift the export ban from British beef will include beef on the bone.
