MATERNITY ALLIANCE (7 July 1998)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the Maternity Alliance for its 18 years of campaigning on maternity issues such as the rights of pregnant women, infants and maternity benefits, welcomes the publication of their manifesto for maternity as a positive contribution to the debate on maternity rights and benefits; recognises the positive changes outlined in the government White Paper, Fairness at Work; and looks forward to close co-operation between the alliance and government to progress a positive agenda.
