PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
RT HON MEMBER FOR KINSTON UPON HULL EAST AND THE RT HON MEMBER FOR SEDGEFIELD (14 February 1996)

Motion Details

That this House notes with considerable interest that the Deputy Leader of the Labour party, the Right honourable Member for Kingston upon Hull East has been circulating to the media a copy of an interview with the author and director, Jonathan Miller, in which Mr Miller says 'I have very few warm feelings about Tony Blair; I look at and listen to this man and don't feel encouraged. It's all rather dauntingly convincing in its glib, Pepsident way; there is a sort of orthodontic gleam to the man'; and commends the Right honourable Member for Kingston upon Hull East for making those comments available to a wider audience.
