PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
Closure of Jones Brothers (2 March 1990)
Motion Details
That this House believes that Jones Bros. shop, a department store on Holloway Road, N.7, is a popular and valuable asset to the community; deplores the proposal of the John Lewis Partnership to close the store and sell the site; is concerned that this will further damage the shopping facilities in the Nags Head; and calls upon the John Lewis Partnership to reconsider their plans and retain this profitable and valuable store.
