PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
GP FUNDHOLDING (20 May 1996)

Motion Details

That this House pays tribute to the impressive way in which fundholding general practitioners have brought about real improvements in the standard of care provided to everyone who uses the NHS; welcomes the fact that the majority of general practitioners have chosen to become fundholders in order to take control of the care provided to their individual patients; and deplores the opposition parties' determination to destroy fundholding.
