PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MR CHRIS WOODHEAD (7 May 1996)
Motion Details
That this House believes that Mr Chris Woodhead, the Chief Inspector of Schools in England, has failed in his public duty insofar as he has abandoned the objectivity expected of a public official, has abused his position to engage in party political controversy in education policy and has unfairly attacked teachers and comprehensive education; and calls for his immediate resignation.
