TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF CHERNOBYL (No. 3) (17 April 1996)
Motion Details
That this House notes the terrible environmental and economic consequences suffered in the Ukraine as a result of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl on 26th April 1986; and commends the work of Adi Roche who has raised ú6 million for the victims of the disaster noting that this is more than was raised through a United Nations appeal to all world governments.
