PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
CAMBRIDGE MILITARY HOSPITAL (13 December 1994)

Motion Details

That this House calls upon the Government to rescind proposals to close the Cambridge Military Hospital, to ensure that the level of health provision in Aldershot and surrounding areas of north-east Hampshire and north-west Surrey is maintained, and to provide a continuation of the standards of service after replacement or refurbishment as may be undertaken by the officers for the Local Area Health Authority and north and mid Hampshire; and calls upon the Government to ensure that no department of the Cambridge Military Hospital be closed until full alternative provision has been made for the civilian population and furthermore to ensure that no deterioration in health services occurs during any reorganisation undertaken at the direction of the Officer in Command of the popular, and much valued, Cambridge Military Hospital.
