PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
USE OF BED AND BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION IN LONDON (7 June 1995)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the publication of the Out of Sight report, which details the growing numbers of homeless people booking themselves into bed and breakfast accommodation in London; whilst welcoming the current drop in local authorities' own use, remains concerned that this form of inadequate accommodation is wasteful of public expenditure; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to continue to work towards the ending of the use of this type of accommodation.
