SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL AND POLITICAL;INTERFERENCE (9 July 1995)
Motion Details
That this House finds the action of the Secretary of State for the Environment in allowing the Leader of Wandsworth Borough Council an opportunity to submit so-called 'new evidence' to him, after a public inquiry has closed and the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State has produced his report, intolerable and completely at odds with the quasi-judicial planning process; and condemns the abuse of power and the party political interference by both people in what should be a non-partisan matter.
