Shops on the corner

The building in front used to be four shops many years ago. They were built in the 1960's by a local builder and very quickly occupied. The 1st (behind the white van) was a butcher's, the 2nd (behind the telephone pole) was a greengrocer, the 3rd (behind the green car) was a sweet shop and last (behind the pickup) was a chemist/off licence. They all closed eventually due to competition and were changed back to dwellings.
