Remains of old byway connecting Thornham Lane and Oozewood Road at Stakehill, Rochdale. Cart tracks are visible in the stone flag roadway. Setts between trackways allow for better grip for horses hooves. Traffic from a bleach works shown on old maps would have used this route.
