The phone works ( but is scheduled for removal) and the petrol pump last dispensed motor spirit c.1985 I used it once to wish my friend a happy birthday by playing Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" down the phone line from my cassette recorder (remember them ?) It was frequented by a heavy breather for a couple years but he's dead now There used to be an old enamel sign pointing to it, but some neer do well nicked it.
