In January 1990, when this winter picture was taken, nearly all the houses on this estate were owned by the local council but in recent years they have nearly all become privately owned. This photograph is dedicated to the memory of my dear old friend Mr Geoffrey Mather who passed away on the 8th of October 2008 and from whose garden this photograph was taken in 1990. As Geoff always used to say "It's better to travel hopefully than arrive" Image
