Dagnal's Bridge over Rainford Brook marks the old boundary between Windle and Rainford. The ironwork has the wording 'Owen ironfounder Ormskirk 1842' and carved into the stone pillar on the right are 'Dagnal no.30'. There's surface water on the fields and the brook is quite swollen after the heavy showers of the last few days.
