In 1862 this was an alehouse, then known as The Nightingale and became the Radcliffe Arms in 1869. It had been owned by local brewers Hall & Hall and then Lucas. By 1916 it was fully licensed and passed to Greens of Luton in 1918 during the disposal of the Lucas Brewery empire. Its current status is unknown (to me) - it is boarded but the building is undergoing some refurbishment.
