Kilwninning station is V-shaped having two platforms on the Ardrossan and Largs branch and two, seen here, on the Glasgow to Ayr line. The junction is on the right just beyond the ends of the platforms. A station here originally opened in March 1840 but the building seen here is a later rebuilding.
