This aircraft flew with 10sqn. It is a VC-10-1106 type C1K. It was scrapped in March 1999 after a ground accident during defuelling. The tail fin tank should have been emptied first but this wasn't done and as a result, the aircraft tipped backwards. The front fuselage section is still used for battle repair training.
