At this point, Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 84 miles from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ wends its way through this neatly-kept garden. Hadrian's Cycleway http://www.cycle-routes.org/hadrianscycleway/ follows the B6318 behind the wall.
