The formation of Jessop's 1804 Caldon Tramway above Whiston, where it follows the side of the hill along a ledge which can be made out just this side of the hedge. Behind the camera, the formation crosses the A52 main road into a cutting and under a bridge, before being lost under a modern golf course for some distance.
