After passing a gate > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/984139 the course of the Weavers Way leaves the dismantled railway trackbed and briefly changes direction, turning northerly for a short distance, before veering westwards once again. The sign which was still affixed to the post when this photo > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/223476 was taken two years ago has since fallen off.
