Since opening in 2003 Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 84 miles from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ has become extremely popular. Even in late September on one of the less frequented sections of the path, we met over 30 walkers coming in the opposite direction.
