This was formerly the site of one of the entrances to the grounds of Warley Mental Hospital. The Hospital has gone; many of the hospital buildings have been redeveloped as apartments and the former grounds are now filled with high-end-of-the-range housing (like that seen here). This is now the entrance to "Clements Park".
