Lilliput: the old post office

This used to be Lilliput's post office, which subsequently relocated to the shopping parade on Sandbanks Road before closing on 7 November 2005 – not at the Post Office's behest but when Tesco took over the One Stop convenience stores. Numerous post offices closed under this takeover. These premises feature two interesting items: Firstly, a very rare Edward VIII-reign postbox; see Image Image Secondly, the Lifebuoy Soap advert, central above the window, changes appearance depending on your viewpoint; see Image Image Image
