Here the electricity lines turn through 40 degrees and descend the northern slopes of the hill which are quite steep. The larger pylon (right) carries power at 132 KV from Nursling to Velmore substation in Chandler's Ford. The smaller pylon (left) carries power at 33 KV from Upton to North Baddesley substation.
