A short street, running from Linenhall Street (foreground) to Bedford Street. The trees and flower bed were part of the early attempts to brighten up, what were then, depressing parts of the city centre. They were later used by cycle couriers (remember them?), who frequented a nearby sandwich shop (since demolished), for alfresco dining between messages.
