St Palladius Church,also known as Auchenblae Church.Built by John Smith 1829 as Fordoun Parish Church on a site known as Kirkton of Fordoun. Auchenblae is quite simply "The Field of Flowers"...Auchen meaning field and Blae referring to flowers or blossoms.
