Steps outside no 26 Cope Street

These old steps and railings are original, the houses date to around the 1870s. Of the four houses in the block only two, 26 and 28 still have the steps and 28 doesn't have the railings. Note the small window into the cellar and the opening in the front wall under the steps that was the coal hole.
