The land around the centre of Birmingham's canal network near Gas Street Basin is still being developed, but most is complete, and the canal wharfs give access to an attractive thriving area full of bars, restaurants, and other businesses, including shops and a dentist! Granville Street Bridge can be seen at the end of the wharf. A sanitary station is available for boaters, just beyond the blue pillars of the Thai Restaurant.
