A crossroads with a sign announcing one of the many roadwork projects in the Edinburgh area during the summer of 2008. Probably related to a nasty recurring case of four way traffic lights that blighted the Ormiston road on the edge of Tranent for much of the previous winter. At the crossroads the right hand turn is a farm track, used as a cycle path, but is in fact the mother of all dog toilets.
