Not quite unused, the track in the left side of the view is a public bridleway, heading for a dark bridge under the railway. Inside the bridge there is a deep pool from end to end, and across apart from a narrow strip on one side. This area is inaccessible to motor vehicles other than motorcycles, being hemmed in by the railway and river.
