A cruiser prepares to exit from the Hertford Union onto the Regent's Canal. This is a difficult manoeuvre as it is a blind exit for the steerer who is on the stern. Post a lookout on the front end if possible, sound two long blasts on the horn, and exit at a dead slow speed, being prepared to stop if a craft is seen approaching on the Regent's line.
