The walls of the old Kingsway building can just be seen being devoured by the steel supports for what I assume will be more flats. Lancaster has many new residential developments in the form of city flats. Kingsway used to house Council offices connected with the transport department but more famously the towns swimming baths. It had two pools one 33.3 yards long and a slightly smaller one plus slipper baths for the great unwashed.The baths were converted a few years ago to 'PC World'.
