The previous church on this site was St Lawrence which was rebuilt C1420 and was itself rebuilt in 1843–5 and reconsecrated as Holy Trinity. It's (latter) designer, Charles Barry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Barry is best remembered for being the designer of the Palace of Westminster. This bucolic view is from Washbrooks farm.
