A path runs along the top of the slope above Victoria Park, Arbroath, visible in the foreground of this picture. Below, to the right, there is one of the remaining shelters showing typical park architecture. The park at sea level has several football pitches and the roadway at that level goes along the shoreline which has considerable concrete sea defences.
