This impressive building was originally known as the Yorkshire Penny Bank until it was taken over by the Bank of Australia in the 1980s, when it became Yorkshire Bank. The branch was closed recently and the building is now up for sale. Recently it was featured in the ITV drama, "Lost in Austen".
