The Seaforth Hotel in Arbroath was destroyed by fire in August 2006. It has now been demolished and the site has been cleared. The building had been a private mansion built in the 1820s. It was converted into a hotel in 1934. Prior to the fire there had been plans submitted to turn it into flats.
