Here the River Wey Navigation, that we are travelling on and which passes under the footbridge ahead, is joined from the right by the Basingstoke Canal. The navigation is crossed by the Waterloo to Woking 4-track main railway line, here with a suburban train from Woking to London rattling across. Meanwhile the M25 sweeps over the lot, with all the drivers on that route blissfully unaware of all that is below.
