Waiting for the lock

Image: © Graham Horn Taken: 23 Aug 2008

A boat waits for Hurley Lock to fill. Like many narrowboats, the owner has colourful bowls of flowers on the roof and is proud of the shining brasswork. Cruisers are rather more prosaic.
