Hope Mill, Walsden

Steam powered cotton spinning mill built 1855-6 and used for cotton weaving from 1879. Unusually for a spinning mill it was a single storey shed with corner beam engine house. Now demolished. Horrible misty August morning and I've increased the contrast but not ridiculously so.
