Situated in the old burial ground (now a garden) between High Street and Albert Road, this bronze by Jill Watson was commissioned by the people of Berwickshire to commemorate the women and children left by the 1881 East Coast fishing disaster. 129 men from Eyemouth lost their lives at sea in a great storm. The original monument to the disaster is nearby Image
