Fittingly for Bonfire Night (or Plot Night as it's known in Halifax), a rather smoky class 110 "Calder Valley" diesel unit ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_110 / http://www.railcar.co.uk/type/110/110.html ) heads south from Halifax, viewed from Spring Hall Lane footbridge. The steeply sloping path at the left leads down to Haigh Lane which runs parallel to the railway at a lower level.
