Currently (August 2008) this inn is closed. In early 2007 Wyre Forest District Council granted planning permission for the erection of 2 houses within the inn's car park on condition that the public house was retained. The small village of Bliss Gate has so few remaining facilities that it is to be hoped the inn will re-open.
