Opposite the entrance to the church at the top of the hill where the newer settlement of Pyecombe is located. Pyecombe was long famous for the production of shepherd's crooks, particularly those with the long curly heads (Known as a Pyecombe Head), many of which were made here and used across Sussex. The building is now a private house located at the point where Church Hill reaches its peak.
