Reclaimed mine area in Old Goginan

Old Goginan was an important mining area and there was much evidence of this right to the end of the 20th century. The area in this view was covered in mining spoil, but a 'clean-up' and landscaping over the last 20 years has resulted in the removal of most of the mining remains. This area is marked as a golf course on current large scale mapping, but I saw no sign of this.
