Commissioner's ensign of the Northern Lighthouse Board flying outside their HQ at 84,George Street, Edinburgh. The NLB was founded in 1786 and NB the ensign flown predates the Union with Ireland in 1801 and does NOT incorporate the Saint Patrick's flag which now overlies the Saint Andrew's flag in present day Union Flags.
