With so much housing being sold as second homes to city dwellers or as holiday homes there is a huge pressure on the local people who work by the sea. The problems go back many decades as the plaque on the wall and the section of timber from the "Rosebud" remind us. Interestingly the lady running our B&B was telling us of the fight to save the Newlyn quayside fish market from redevelopment. Image
