What looks like a simple security lighting pole at Foxton Farm is actually a 'recycled' radio mast, one of many that dotted the fields around here during WW2. These receivers picked up enemy transmissions and relayed them to Bletchley Park (the Government Codes and Cipher Centre) for decoding on the code-breaking machines there.
